Getup ("we", "the app") is designed to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, and your outfit history stays on your device.
When you ask for a rating, the app sends the single photo you chose to our stateless processing service so it can be analyzed by an AI model. That photo is used only to generate your rating, and is discarded immediately after analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers, we do not keep a copy, and the photo is never linked to your identity.
Image analysis is performed by Google's Gemini models via the Google Generative Language API, acting as our processor for that request only. See Google's privacy terms at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
Your rated fits, scores, and notes are stored locally on your iPhone and never leave it (you can export or delete them anytime in Settings). When you share a card, face blur is on by default, and face detection happens entirely on your device.
We may collect anonymous, aggregate usage and diagnostic events (never linked to your identity and never used for tracking) to understand which features are used and to fix bugs.
Getup is not directed to children. The app refuses to rate images that appear to depict a minor.
Because we do not store your photos or hold an account for you, there is no personal profile to access or erase on our side; your on-device data is under your control in the app. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us below.
